Both my father and mother were really a-political.

My father would rave about all politicians at different times and my mother really never cared much about politicians as her life was all about family, friends, work and helping people. However they always voted as both believed it was their duty as given the right to vote.

I do remember them "discussing" elections on more than one occasion. It was just not about you should vote for x or y.

It was all about my mother not telling my father she would she voted for as she believed it was not his business to know.

Funny when they did tell me who they voted it was always the same way! She just did not want to tell him this!
